Makito catalog in your store

Putting together the Makito catalog by hand takes weeks. And keeping it up-to-date is a never-ending task.

Colors, sizes, quantity rates, stock, images, seven languages and the marking of each product: Makito publishes it all, but not in a format that your store can read on its own. RKR Makito Connector Bring the catalog to PrestaShop, keep it up to date, and let your customer add the product to the cart with their logo and the price of the marking already calculated.

If you're a distributor, you have stock in your warehouse and, in addition, the stock that Makito supplies from the factory, with different delivery times. RKR Supplier Stock PrestaShop's stock becomes solely yours, while Makito's stock is stored separately, by combination. Your customer knows what to expect before making a purchase.

Two messages, two deadlines
When you have it in stock: "In stock: ships in 24/48 hours." When it's supplied by Makito: "Available from the factory: delivery in 5-7 business days." The messages are editable and come pre-programmed in all 7 languages.
Purchase rules
By default, no more is sold than the sum of your stock and Makito's; if someone requests more, see "There is not enough stock for that quantity. Write to us and we will prepare a quote for you." (editable).
PrestaShop delivery times
The module fills in the "in stock" and "out of stock" delivery times for each product with your texts.

Requirement for this part: RKR Supplier Stock, which is included in the package, and PrestaShop 9. It is optional: without it, the connector works the same in PrestaShop 1.7.6 In version 9.x, Makito's stock is transferred to the PrestaShop stock (this is the default setting). When activated for a product, its PrestaShop stock is reset to 0 (previously it was Makito's stock), and orders can be placed even without its own stock.

/ A complete spec sheet, not just a name and a price

Each Makito product arrives as a PrestaShop listing with a color and size combination, including its Makito reference, description, and technical specifications. The main image, the color image (assigned to its combination), the details, and the background images are all included.

All features
Material, measurements, weight, origin, sizes, packaging (inner pack, box and pallet), TARIC code, battery, marking techniques and areas, printing colors and sales multiple, in all languages and written only when Makito changes something.
Filters that work
Each product receives its own material family (27 families, from cotton to bamboo) and color family (16 families) as shared values of a characteristic, paired with those your store already has or created in all seven languages. The colors have their swatches in the selector.
Labels and stock
Makito's keywords are transferred to tags in each language without affecting yours. Stock for each variant may include items Makito announces with an arrival date, and the next shipment is saved in the article.

/ Personalize with your logo, with the price on the front

It's the best-selling promotional item and the one that takes the most time to keep in good condition in the store. It appears on every product "Personalize with your logo": the client chooses the area (sees their image and its measurements), the technique, the logo colors and, in surface techniques, the size in cm².

Table of marking options on the card
Each area with its image and measurements, its techniques, colors, production time and indicative price per unit.
The marking is a line on the cart.
Product and marking are entered together, including the product price and VAT. If the customer changes the quantity, the marking is recalculated with the corresponding price range; if the product is removed, the marking is removed.
Price calculated on the server
Makito cost plus your margin as a percentage and, if you wish, a fixed amount. The customer cannot change this from the browser. Includes the cliché and the minimum for the technique.
You decide what is offered
Choose which marking techniques to offer and which items to sell without customization. You can write the note that the customer sees ("we will ask for your logo...").

No overrides. The markup works with any theme; it's been tested on Classic and Hummingbird.

Makito's prices are your cost. The hub converts them into a selling price using the rules you choose, and the simulator shows you the result before you touch anything.

Pricing rules
Multiplier (e.g., ×3), markup by cost brackets or fixed margin, rounding up, down, or near the price, and minimum price. Price sets accept conditions: the first condition that the item meets is the one applied.
Prices by quantity
The 500, 2,000, and 5,000 unit increments are calculated using the same rule and are created as specific combination prices. Your own specific prices and catalog rules remain unchanged.
Simulate, review, apply
Until you apply, neither the store nor the catalog photo changes: you can simulate as many times as you want and see each price before → after with its % variation.

Just write down what changes
The hub compares each pass with the previous one and records each change field by field, including the old value, the new value, and the date. Only the fields that change and that you have marked for updating are written to the store.
New, disappeared, and returning
You decide if a new product is listed, created deactivated or created; what happens to the one Makito removes (nothing, stock to 0 or deactivate) and if the one that returns is reactivated (only if the module deactivated it).
Insurance
The process is blocked if more than a certain percentage of the catalog disappears or if fewer items arrive than expected, and large price changes are held for your review.
Your translations are safe
A language you have translated by hand is not overwritten until Makito changes that text.
Record
Translations, areas, techniques, marking rates, deadlines and colors are stored in the connector history with previous value, new value and date.
Chron
It's scheduled via URL with a token or via the console. The hub's schedule comes first, followed by the connector's; once a day is sufficient.

/ Categories without spending hours matching

Each new Makito category is automatically assigned to a similar category in your store by name, without AI and at no cost ("Cups, Jugs, and Thermoses" goes to "Cups and Thermoses"). Categories that don't match can be assigned using AI (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or an OpenAI-compatible API) or manually. AI can also rewrite the description, meta title, and meta description of new products for SEO, in a queue that never delays an import.

/ Sell in packs, if Makito works for you in packs

Makito sells in packs, and PrestaShop only recognizes the minimum quantity: with a minimum of 25, the customer can buy 26. The third module in the package, RKR Quantity Multiples, This feature restricts purchases to multiples of Makito's intermediate pack 1, the one with the fewest units. It's optional: if your store sells any quantity, don't activate it.

Data sheet and lists
Notice "Sold in multiples of…", selector that jumps from multiple to multiple and listings with the same notice next to the price.
Cart, on the server
Any quantity received, from the record, the list, the header, or another module, is transferred to the next higher quantity. If there is insufficient stock to reach the higher quantity, it remains in the lower one.
What you put at hand, rules
A multiple fixed in the connector or by CSV is not changed by the connector.

The Makito API doesn't publish videos or 3D models, so we don't create them: if you have them, you register them by reference (manually, via CSV, or with a URL template). {ref} (which the cron checks) and are displayed below the tab. It supports YouTube, Vimeo, and MP4, and 3D models in .glb format with a viewer that rotates and zooms.

/ What you need and what you should know

A Makito customer account with API access
Makito gives each client their API email and password; each store enters its own in the connector. Without it, there's no catalog to download.
Facility
First, install the RKR Supplier Hub, then the Makito connector; the multi-unit module can be installed later. The ZIP file contains a README with instructions. In the hub, add a source with the "Makito" connector, enter your credentials, click "Save and Test," and initially, you can limit it to a few references.
Own stock and Makito stock sold separately
This part requires the RKR Supplier Stock module (included in the package) and PrestaShop 9. Everything else works in PrestaShop. 1.7.6 to 9.x.
Read only
The connector does not place orders: Makito's product API does not have any ordering methods, so it does not create, modify, or send orders to Makito.
Quantity pricing and promotions
PrestaShop applies only one specific price at a time: once a quantity discount is reached, that price takes precedence over any percentage-based discounts. If you run a significant discount, make sure the quantity discount remains lower.
