B2B selling with PrestaShop: price lists, groups and minimum orders
Share:

Selling to professionals has different needs: prices per customer, large and repeat orders, invoicing with tax details, deferred payment. PrestaShop covers a good part of this with its native configuration and a few modules.

Customer groups

The pillar of B2B in PrestaShop. Per group you can:

  • Show prices with or without VAT.
  • Apply a general discount.
  • Restrict which categories it sees.
  • Limit the payment and shipping methods available.

Price lists

  • Specific prices per customer, group, quantity or dates.
  • Catalogue price rules for discounts by category or brand.

Access and orders

  • Account approval: businesses register and an employee validates them before they see prices.
  • Minimum order by amount.
  • Quick order by reference and reordering previous orders.
  • Order approval before processing, for customers with special terms.

Payment

Bank transfer, SEPA direct debit (B2B scheme where applicable) or deferred payment for trusted customers. Cards are less common for large orders.

One store or two? With PrestaShop multistore you can have a B2C store and a B2B store sharing catalogue and stock, each with its own design, prices and terms.
