For the customer, your brand is one: they expect to see on the website whether there is stock in the shop, to collect their online order there or to return in the shop something they bought online. Achieving this depends on connecting the POS to the online store.

The basics: one stock

The first step is for a sale in the shop to deduct stock on the website and vice versa. Without this, you sell on the website products you have just sold over the counter.

Customers and loyalty

The same customer identified in both channels allows a shared points programme, a complete purchase history and more relevant communications.

Services customers value

  • In-store pickup (click & collect): one more carrier in PrestaShop, with a notification when the order is ready.
  • Stock per shop visible on the product page.
  • In-store returns of online purchases, with the refund handled from the POS.
  • Ordering online-only products in the shop, from the POS itself.

How it is connected

  • POS and website connected to a common ERP.
  • A POS that works directly against PrestaShop.
  • A direct integration between the POS and the store.
Do not forget invoicing: POS receipts and website invoices must comply with the same regulations (Verifactu or TicketBAI depending on where you pay tax), ideally from the same system.
