RKR Linear Pricing Pro: selling by the meter with reels, lengths and cuts for PrestaShop
Sell cable, rope, hose, LED strips, moldings, baseboards, fabric, or profiles by the meter: your customer enters the length, and the module calculates the complete coils, sections, bundles, or cuts, including waste, rounding up, and stock in meters. Everything is sent to the shopping cart, order, PDF invoice, and emails. Rekire module, tested in real stores.
Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 9.x.
Sale by length
Your customer knows how many meters they need. Not how many reels.
If you sell cable, rope, hose, or skirting board, every order ends with a query to calculate how many units to send. RKR Linear Pricing Pro lets the customer enter the meters and calculates the reels, lengths, bundles, or full cuts for them.
Type in the meters, receive the correct units
The product page includes a calculator: the customer enters the required length and instantly sees the corresponding number of units, the total length they will receive, the price per unit, and the total price. The price of your product is for one unit; the module does not affect PrestaShop's pricing.
The calculation adds up the waste you specify (a default percentage and another per product) and rounds up by default, so no one runs out of material. If you prefer, you can also round to the nearest percentage or down. And you can set a minimum and maximum number of units per product.
/ One way to sell for each material
Stock is measured in meters, not in individual units
You declare the meters you have (or the number of coils or sections and the length of each) and the module deducts the sales directly from the orders, without scheduled tasks or discrepancies. On the customer's record, they see a stock bar, what will remain after their purchase, your sales rate for the last 30 days, and a forecast of days of stock remaining.
You set a notification threshold for each product, and you receive an email when the stock level exceeds it. If the product is out of stock and special orders are not enabled, the purchase is blocked on the product page and also on the server. If you sell on a special order basis, you activate that option for the product.
The length travels with the order to the end
In the shopping cart, each line displays the units, the length of each item, and the total length, while the footer sums the order total. This information is also included in the order confirmation, the customer's order details, the back-office order, the PDF invoice, and order emails. Each order saves a snapshot of the items purchased, so a subsequent change to the settings will not affect previous orders.
In the back-office order list, you can view and filter the meters sold. It doesn't add columns to the order's product table, which PrestaShop doesn't allow you to modify; the length appears in a separate block within the order details.
/ A panel with everything at hand
Designed for your store
Multi-store and multi-language: the calculator text is editable by language. The module includes the Spanish translation and displays prices in your store's language format.
It's part of a family. RKR Linear Pricing Pro shares the same approach as RKR Area Pricing Pro, RKR Volume Pricing Pro, and RKR Weight Pricing Pro, which sell based on area, volume, and weight. Each has its own tables and settings.
/ Updating means uploading the ZIP file.
If you already have it installed, simply upload the new version over the existing one and the migrations will be applied without losing your settings. You can keep your data when uninstalling.

v1.0.7
- Statistics: the legends of the graphs appear in the language of the back office (they were read before the text block existed and they fell into English).
- Mobile: The Stock and Products tables scroll sideways instead of squeezing all columns.
- Guide: "below the add to cart button" (it said something else).
- Panel texts corrected (articles and units inherited from the areas module).
v1.0.6
- Cart: the unit chips are no longer painted inside the block of another module that names the product without quantity (it used to show "0 units · 0").
v1.0.5
- Products in package/bar format (pieces per package × measurement per piece) now display the calculator on the card: previously the module considered them unconfigured because the measurement per unit saved is 0 in that format.
- In the product table of the panel, you can choose "store unit"; previously, a row without its own unit was saved with the first one in the list.
- When installed in a Spanish store, the title and text of the listing block appear in Spanish.
- The panel's product table refers to formats by their names (coils, sacks, packages) instead of "boxes" and "bars".
v1.0.4
[destacado]
- PrestaShop 8 and 9: the order list no longer gives error 500 (the module treated the grid data as an array).
- Passes the PrestaShop Addons validator: AFL 3.0 license in all files,
index.phpin each folder and.htaccessin the root. - The "Configure" button in the module manager opens a page with the link to the panel, instead of redirecting (the screen can no longer remain blank).
- Prices in the store's language format in all versions (without
Tools::displayPrice, which does not exist in PrestaShop 9). - Images of the demonstration products in the PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 9.x image path, with their thumbnails.
- The order email units table comes from a template.
- The data in the panel (texts, graphics, cart) travels escaped and the note in the card goes through the HTML sanitizer.
- The low stock notification by email is sent to the store's email address (previously it went out without a recipient and never arrived).
- Columns of units sold in the PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 9.x order list with their title.
- The statistics order reference no longer gives an error in PHP 8.
- Demonstration orders retain their actual sales format.
- The inventory record, shopping cart, emails, and invoice refer to reels, sacks, or units, not "boxes" (text inherited from the areas module). In terms of volume, the formats are called sacks/big bags and packages.
- The unit label on the order mail says m, m³ or kg.
- PrestaShop 1.7.8 : the panel and product tab load their styles (with
?v=in the path, 1.7 discarded the sheet) and the installation no longer leaves "Translation not found" warnings from the module. - Uninstalling always deletes demo products (they remained in multi-store or from the console).
- The demo uses its own reference prefix: previously it shared the one from the areas module, it did not delete its products and could delete those from RKR Area Pricing Pro.
- With several modules from the family installed, each one uses its own columns and filters in the order list (previously they overlapped).
- Upgrading from version 1.0.3 performs schema and menu migrations.
