RKR REBU - VAT on margin for used goods
Sell used goods, art, antiques, and collectibles with VAT on the margin: calculate the margin for each line item using your bulk purchase prices, replace the itemized breakdown with the VAT regime information on the product page, shopping cart, checkout, emails, and PDF invoices, and maintain a linked ledger using SHA-256 hashes, with period closing and export in AEAT format. Features include VAT references for Spain, Germany, France, and the EU framework, and support for multiple stores. Rekire module, tested on PrestaShop 1.7.8 , 9.0, and 9.2.
Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 9.x.
Second-hand · REBU
You sell second-hand items. VAT is not calculated on what you charge.
It's calculated based on your profit margin, and the invoice doesn't itemize it. Doing it manually for each order is time-consuming and increases the risk of errors. RKR REBU - VAT on margin for used goods It calculates the margin of each line, places the mention in each document, and keeps a logbook in which any alteration is detected by verifying the chain.
/ From purchase price to margin, without spreadsheets
You record each purchase with its supplier, document number, date, units, and price. The module tracks the remaining units in each batch and, upon sale, calculates the margin for each line item: sale price minus the applied batch cost. If you prefer to adjust the margins for the month, you can also work with an overall margin per period, which is resolved in a single adjusting entry during the closing process.
The module It does not modify any native PrestaShop totalsIt calculates and saves its own REBU figures in the module's tables. There is an advanced option to align the native rate with the margin, which is disabled by default.
/ A chained logbook: a retouch does not go unnoticed
Each transaction is recorded in the REBU ledger and sealed, linked to the previous one, using a unique SHA-256 fingerprint sequence. If someone alters or deletes a row, Verify string It tells you and points out where it breaks. When a period closes, its rows are sealed: the module rejects and records subsequent entries, and reopening it is an explicit action that is also recorded.
tools/cron.php, (via command line)./ Export for your manager
From the Import/Export menu, you extract the ledger in the AEAT format, with the columns and order of the Spanish VAT ledger (Article 137 of the VAT Law): chronological order, tax ID number and counterparty, document, description, margin as base, rate, and amount. It's sent as a CSV file with semicolons and UTF-8 encoding, ready to open with Excel in Spanish. The rest of the module's data (products, purchases, notifications, statistics) is exported in CSV, JSON, or XLSX, and imports are simulated before confirmation.

In automatic mode, the module uses the default country for each store: Spain, Germany, and France use their respective regulations (Articles 136 to 138 of the VAT Law, Section 25a of the German VAT Act, Article 297 A of the General Tax Code), while any other country uses Directive 2006/112/EC. v1.6.5
- Checkout: each second-hand product is listed with its name and quantity ("× 1") instead of "Used goods x1,000,000".
- The second-hand section of the shopping cart and checkout always appears, even on the first visit of a newly created cart.
- Back-office messages: the Book, Purchases, Products, Statistics, Import/Export, Themes and Guide screens did not show the result of your actions; now they do ("Verify the hash chain" says if it is intact).
- Purchase entry: displays the name of the chosen product, the price excluding VAT with two decimal places, and a preview of the margin calculated with the actual price of the product, which is updated when the cost is entered.
- Import/Export: the export of the book in AEAT format has its name and description.
- Statistics: without the Chart.js technical line (only appears if a chart fails), monthly table amounts with their currency, named margin bands, the translated notification of products with accredited cost, and the activity map with the actual time of the sale.
- Panel: the legal notice icons are visible (the name used to appear as text), the titles are no longer split word by word, and the legal texts section no longer spills out to the right with multiple languages.
- Demonstration data: no dates after today, purchases with their amount, sales to "End Consumer" instead of to the supplier, and months prior to last year closed.
- Products and categories: the total and pages match the category filter and the search by EAN13.
v1.6.4
- REBU book: In a production-mode store, the secret keys were regenerating on the first request (a query would request a column that doesn't exist, and PrestaShop, outside of debug mode, doesn't warn you), and the entire book would go into "broken chain" status. Now the keys are read correctly and don't change on their own.
- REBU book: each actual sale started a new chain, and the book was corrupted from the very first order. The query for the last stamp contained a
LIMIT 1that PrestaShop automatically adds, and it always failed. The same thing happened with seven other queries (nonce check, panel indicators, last line sold for a product, demo data). - Products without their own specific regulations are excluded from REBU by default, as stated in the documentation (it was initially listed as "Used Goods," and upon installation of the module, the entire catalog was moved to REBU). Stores that already have it installed retain their settings.
- A REBU product can (and should) go without a VAT rule in PrestaShop, which is what prevents the core invoice from breaking down the VAT: the margin VAT is then calculated with the general store rate (21% by default) instead of coming out to 0.
- A partial payment only reflects the paid units in the book, not the entire line.
- In multi-stores, the book seatings and product and category listings are no longer repeated once per store.
- Book exports are no longer cut off at 1,000 rows.
- The tax name that the module leaves in the order lines is "REBU" (the column allows 16 characters and the mention was cut off).
- Removing the demo data also deletes your translated texts.
