Every time you update your store's CSS or JavaScript, some visitors still see the old version stored in their browser cache. This results in misaligned layouts, styles that fail to load, and JavaScript errors that only affect a few users and are nearly impossible to reproduce. Rekire Cache Buster solves this problem completely: it forces the browser to automatically and transparently download the files as soon as they change.

How it works

The module adds a version marker ( ?v= ) to each local CSS and JS file in your front office. When that marker changes, the browser understands that the file is new and downloads it again instead of serving the cached copy.

• ✔ Automatic versioning per file: uses the modification date of each file, so only those that actually change are reloaded. Zero maintenance.
• ✔ "Force reload now" button: invalidates the cache of all visitors at once after a deployment, with a single click.
• ✔ Activable separately for CSS and for JavaScript, depending on your needs.
• ✔ Respect your external resources: do not touch files served from CDN, those that already have their own version, or embedded styles.
• ✔ It does not combine or modify your files: unlike PrestaShop's "Combine, compress and cache" option, it is a surgical adjustment that does not alter the loading order or group your code.
• ✔ Install and go: it works as soon as you activate it, without mandatory configuration and without touching any server files.
