Speed and GDPR
Your store loads styles and scripts from modules that the page doesn't even use.
Each module inserts its CSS and JS into every page, and the theme's Google Fonts send your visitor's IP address to Google without their consent. RKR OptiMatters shows you what each page loads, removes the unnecessary files, and serves your fonts from your own server.
See what each page loads, and from which module.
The module inventories the CSS and JS files loaded on the homepage, category, product, cart, checkout, or CMS pages, including their actual size , the source module, their position, and how often they appear. You no longer have to guess what's slowing things down.
/ Rules per page, without touching code
You choose a resource (by name, part of its URL, or using a regular expression) and decide what to do with it and where. Rules can be limited by page type, controller, category, product, CMS page, device, visitor role, or URL, and are ordered by priority.
Google Fonts on your server, and only what you use
The module detects Google Fonts in your theme, your parent theme, modules, and actual store pages, downloads the woff2 files, and rewrites the CSS to point to your domain. You keep only the weights and subsets your pages require (by default, Latin and Latin-ext), preloads critical font families, and sets the font-display . If a font family hasn't been downloaded yet, it retains its original link: your store never runs out of fonts.
Your visitors no longer send their IP address to Google through the fonts. With fonts served locally and Google connection notifications removed when no further references remain, one of the most frequently cited data protection concerns disappears. In our test, the HTML had no connection to Google. GDPR compliance depends on your entire store, not just this module.
Check the result before you trust it
?rkrom_test=1 ) or disabled ( ?rkrom_test=0 ) and compare. This only works for those logged into the back office: your customers always see the optimized store. In the test store with PrestaShop 9.1.5 two rules were enough: the homepage stopped loading 2 resources it didn't need (68 KB less) and a third-party script started running on the first interaction.
What worries you
?rkrom_disable=1 . defer . The badge CSS is only received by administrators. Start with a rule on a single page and measure it using test mode. Test before generalizing : test mode lets you see the store with and without the optimizer.
