The pet's information in My Account
Species, breed, date of birth, weight, allergies, and photo. The client fills it out once, and you keep it forever.
Active pet at the headboard
A selector at the head of the store: the customer chooses who they are buying for and everything is adapted to that animal.

When you register your first pet, you will receive a welcome coupon, if you activate it.

Recommendations that are explained
Each recommended product explains why we recommend it . And if it contains an allergen that your pet has, it won't be suggested.
Catalog filtered by pet
The customer sees only what fits their animal, without having to browse through hundreds of references that are not suitable.
Automatic birthday coupon
On the designated day, the email with the coupon will be sent automatically, without you having to do anything.
Restock reminders
The warning that the feed is running out is calculated according to the size of the animal: a chihuahua and a labrador do not use the same amount.

Marketing emails (birthday and refills) are only sent to customers subscribed to the newsletter, so you don't send advertising to those who haven't requested it.

What you should know

Automated notifications (birthdays, restocking, appointment reminders) work with a scheduled task that you configure in your hosting cron. Recommendations use the information the customer provides about their pet and your product tags: the more complete the tags, the more accurate the recommendations will be.

Errors observed while assembling the demo.

Fixed

  • A cat product description said "Suitable for Toby (Dog)": the warning on the description did not apply the species ban that the listings do.
  • Allergy labels used to be called "Chicken Free," but on a product they meant "contains chicken": dog food labeled that way was immediately off-limits to the allergic dog. Now they're named after the allergen ("Chicken"); the update renames those that haven't been manually changed.
  • Handwritten allergies in Spanish ("chicken") did not prohibit anything.
  • Species, labels, and serial services were listed in English, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese.
  • The "Shop for my pet" bar was mounted above the logo on Hummingbird.
  • Without an active pet, the block was titled "Recommended for" without further details; "1 year" → "1 year".
  • The demonstration data labeled the first 60 products in the store even if they were not pet products.
