Posting every new product, every price drop, and every restock across all your social media channels takes hours, and if you don't do it immediately, you never get done. RKR Auto Post Social posts new products, price drops, restocks, and, with a daily limit, your older products for you, and tells you how many clicks and orders each post has generated.

It only gets published when there's something to say.

New product
When you create and activate it, it is advertised once on each network. If you register it while it is deactivated, it will be published when you activate it.
Price drop
It pops up when the price changes and also when you create a discount. The message shows the old price and the new price, both including taxes.
Replacement
Notify customers that a product is back in stock. Only if it was previously truly out of stock.
Recycling of old products
It will start showing products that haven't been promoted in a while, with the oldest ones first. By default, there's a 45-day break and a maximum of 5 products per day; you can change both of these values.

Each network with its own language and voice

The templates are written for each language, with variables such as name, price, previous price, discount, quantity, link, and hashtags. Each account publishes in the language you assign it: your French page will display in French even if you manage the store in Spanish. The module truncates the text to the limit of each network without breaking the link to the product.

A queue that doesn't forget anything

Retries with waiting
If a network fails, the module retries: 3 attempts by default, waiting longer each time. If two scheduled tasks overlap, the same thing is not published twice.
Publish a product now
From the Queue tab, you choose a product and launch it to your networks without waiting for any event to trigger.
Products that are no longer worth it
If a product is deleted or deactivated before being published, it is skipped.

Short tracking link
Each post has its own unique, signed link that tracks clicks and associates them with orders and revenue. It only redirects to links generated by the module, and previews from social media platforms don't count as clicks.
UTM tags
The campaigns already appear tagged in your analytics tool.
A/B testing
Post two versions of the message, distribute the traffic as you wish, and see which one gets more clicks, orders, and revenue.

Publications, impressions, clicks, orders and revenue from what you have published, in a back-office panel.

In addition to publishing, the module adds a block to product pages so your customers can share the product on social media. It works with multiple stores simultaneously, and you can grant each back-office profile only the permissions it needs.

Things to know before you start. Each network requires its own application or token, which you create in your account on that network; the module's Guide tab explains which fields are needed for each one and what they're for. WhatsApp only sends free text to people who have messaged you in the last 24 hours. And to clear the queue, you need to schedule the module's recurring task (cron job) on your hosting or in the free PrestaShop task module.

Full review of the 1.0.15 received. The 1.0.x could not publish on most networks and broke PrestaShop 1.7.8 and 8.x.

Fixed

  • PrestaShop 1.7.8 and 8.x : the translation files used an attribute that their XLIFF schema rejects, and the whole back office responded with an error 500 as soon as the module was installed.
  • PrestaShop 9 : queuing a product failed with an SQL error and composing a message failed with a fatal error ( Tools::displayDate ).
  • Image URLs were built twice ( https://shophttps://shop/… ): no network could download the photo.
  • Publishing, network by network , rewritten against the current APIs:
  • Facebook and Instagram on Graph API v24 (v19 is retired); Instagram waits for the media container before publishing.
  • X: images uploaded as binary (multipart) and the OAuth 1.0a signature computed without the JSON body.
  • Mastodon: images uploaded as files; the link counts as 23 characters.
  • Bluesky: link card thumbnail uploaded as a blob, clickable links and hashtags (facets).
  • LinkedIn: current API version, image posts (or article with the link), text escaped in LinkedIn's format and hashtags that work.
  • Google Business Profile: the access token (1 hour) is renewed with the refresh token.
  • Telegram: correct link to the channel post; if Telegram cannot reach the image, the text is sent anyway.
  • Texts cut to each network limit without breaking the product link.
  • Accounts : every network asks for exactly the fields its API needs, with a help text for each one. Credentials are stored encrypted and never printed back in the page. "Test" checks the credentials without publishing anything (it used to publish a test post on the account).
  • Languages : each account publishes in its own language (the 1.0.x always used the language of the employee or of the cron).
  • Triggers : "back in stock" no longer fires for products that were never sold out; a product created disabled is announced when it is enabled, once per network; discounts (specific prices) now trigger price drops; the old price is shown with taxes like the new one; recycling is capped per day.
  • Queue : two crons at once cannot publish the same post twice; dates no longer depend on the time zone of the database; deleted or disabled products are skipped; retries wait longer each time.
  • Tracking : short signed links ( /module/rkrautopostsocial/track?q=… ) that only redirect to links the module generated (open redirect closed), active by default; link previews of the networks are not counted as clicks; orders and revenue reach the statistics and the A/B variants.
  • Security : employee profile permissions respected; imports only write real columns, escaped, and never re-publish old posts; export without secrets by default.
  • Share widget on product pages only, once, with the network names (the icons needed a font the themes do not load).
  • Validator: no Context:: , hash_hmac , unfiltered nofilter , obsolete calls or license mismatch; own menu trait (no clash with other Rekire modules).
