Offers with a real deadline
Your "just for today" doesn't convince anyone, because your customer knows that they'll still be there tomorrow.
A countdown that restarts when the page is reloaded doesn't create urgency: it breaks trust. RKR Deadline Offers It gives each customer their own coupon with their own expiration date, and when it runs out, the coupon actually stops working.
/ Urgency that you can defend to your client
Each customer or subscriber receives a unique coupon with their individual expiration date, for example, 72 hours from the time they register or open the email. The countdown timer in the store, the pop-up notification, and the email are all based on this information. the same, because all three read the deadline stored on your server.
Changing the time on your phone or refreshing the page won't save you any time: the validity period is always determined on the server, and once it expires, the coupon is deactivated and removed from the shopping cart. An expired offer remains valid for that customer; they won't receive another one with a full countdown. This is the difference between a promotion and a trick, and it also protects you from the fake countdowns that regulations on unfair business practices prohibit.
/ Choose what triggers the offer
If you prefer a common date for everyone, you can also set it in the campaign.
/ Make shopping one click
/ When the deadline is up, you decide what happens
You can disable the coupon (default), display the expired offer message, extend the deadline only once as a last resort or redirect the customer to a offer of support. The redirect is handled on the server: anyone who opens the email from a week ago will land on the backup offer, not a dead coupon. The backup offer is only issued when the main offer has expired.
Real coupons. Each offer creates a native PrestaShop cart rule, so the minimum amount, customer group, products or categories, store, and combinability rules still apply. There are four types of discounts: percentage, fixed amount, free shipping, and gift. If you limit the offer to specific products or categories, the coupon will only apply the discount to those items.
/ Make it look good in your store
/ He knows what offer to sell.
The panel of Statistics It compiles issued, active, expiring, and redeemed offers, attributed revenue, conversion rate, email opens, and applied coupons, along with a conversion funnel, campaign ranking, time and day of the week, and performance by period. When an order uses a coupon, it's attributed to the offer. The module itself generates the charts, without external libraries, and you can export offers to CSV or transfer campaigns from one store to another in JSON.
See what it looks like with your own eyes in the demo: the administration panel and, adding &ver=tienda to the link, the store, where each visitor receives their 15% offer for 72 hours.
/ What worries you
Schedule the module's cron URL to run every 5 minutes: expire offers, send reminders, search for abandoned carts, and purge the history. Without chron The module executes these tasks during store visits, at most once per minute, and a coupon cannot be used after its expiration date even if the cron job hasn't run. The email countdown image requires the PHP GD extension; without it, it's served as SVG, and if the email program doesn't load images, the client will still see the expiration date displayed.
