The Shopify-style quantity purchase button in PrestaShop listings lets your customers see which items are already in their cart and how many they have. Initially, only "Buy" is displayed; once a product is in the cart, the button changes to "- quantity +". The quantity entered in the box is the remaining quantity (PrestaShop automatically adds this to the previous quantity), respecting the minimum purchase amount and stock levels. Designed for B2B and replenishment stores, and combined with "Add combinations from the listing," it allows customers to order multiple sizes consecutively with the panel open.

Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.6 and 9.x, with PHP 7.1 or higher.

B2B orders and replenishment

Your client asks for many references. And doesn't know which ones they already have.

In the listing, "Buy" always means "Buy," whether you have the product in your cart or not. To see how many units you have, you need to open your cart. Buy button with quantity in cart turn that button into − quantity + Once the product is in the basket: the quantity selector Shopify style, the one from modern stores, in your PrestaShop.

− quantity +
Initially, the listing only shows "Buy"; the selector appears when the product is already in the cart, with its units.
4 styles, 3 sizes
One-piece, separate buttons, round and filled; compact, regular, or large. You can see a sample of each style in the settings.
1.7.6 → 9.x
A single version of the module for all your PrestaShop stores, and without jQuery in the store

/ The list becomes the order form

Customers who replenish stock don't open each product page individually; they browse categories and brands, adding items, often multiple units of each. With this module, they can see at a glance which items are already in the order and how many units of each they have, and adjust the order right there, without opening the cart or losing their place in the order list. This is most noticeable in a B2B store, but any store with multi-unit orders will appreciate it.

First, just "Buy"
Pressing it adds the minimum quantity of the product (usually 1) and the button changes to − quantity +. When the product is not in the cart, the list remains clear.
The products in the order are distinguished
Each product in your cart is highlighted with a colored outline to help you find it as you browse the list. You can disable this feature in the settings if you don't want it.
In all listings
Category, search, homepage, brands, related products, and listings that are reloaded via AJAX when filtering or paginating. If the same product appears twice on the page, both selectors will be displayed simultaneously.

/ What you write is what remains in the basket

With the serial button, PrestaShop addition What you write is added to what was already there. With 1 unit in the basket and a 5 in the box, the customer ends up with 6. With this module, the box shows the units in the basket and the number you write is the final amount: 5 remain.

Comfortable keyboard
Enter confirms the quantity, Esc discards it, and the up and down arrows increase and decrease by one unit. Clicking in the box selects the number to overwrite it directly.
+ and − one by one, without waiting
The number on the screen changes instantly. Several clicks in a row are combined into a single request to the server, instead of one per click.
Writing 0 removes it
And with the minimum in the basket, the − becomes a wastebasket that removes the product.

/ Stock and minimums without surprises

The module respects the rules of your catalog and notifies the customer.

Minimum purchase quantity
If the customer writes less than the minimum for the product (or combination), the minimum is kept and the customer is notified.
Stock limit
When the product does not support out-of-stock orders, the + is deactivated at the top and a larger quantity is adjusted to what is available, with the warning "Only N units left".
Cart and daily totals
The header cart and totals are updated, and automatic cart rules are re-evaluated, such as when you purchase using your theme's button.

/ With combinations: size and color, several in a row

By itself, in the listings, the selector works on the combination shown by the theme (the default one). Along with Add combinations from the list (rkrquickcombinations), also from REKIRE, is where it truly shines:

The panel remains open.
The list button opens the panel for sizes, colors, or formats. When you add a combination, the panel doesn't close, and its button changes to a value of + for that combination.
Several sizes in a row
When choosing another size, "Add" reappears: the customer orders one size after another without closing anything or starting over.
Counter in the list
The listing button has a counter with the total number of units of that product in the basket, adding up all its combinations.

If you don't yet have the other module, the settings screen will remind you. It's not required to use this one: without it, products with combinations are handled using the default combination.

/ Also in the product details

If the product, or the combination the customer is viewing, is already in the cart, the quantity block on the product page displays and updates the cart's units, instead of prompting them to add it again. If it's not already in the cart, the default button remains. If you prefer that the product page doesn't change, you can disable this with a toggle switch.

/ He finds out what's changing elsewhere

If the customer removes an item from the shopping cart at the top of the page, or adds one from the product details page, the selections in the list update automatically. Changing the quantity with the minus (-) and plus (+) symbols never opens the "product added" window, so the customer can continue ordering without interruption; the first "Buy" click only opens it if you choose to do so.

/ It adapts to your store

Ten settings on a single screen: enable or disable the module without uninstalling it, what happens when you click "Buy," the product details page, adding the button when the theme doesn't include it (as is the case with Classic in listings), the CSS selector for the product box for themes that don't use the standard selector, the selector style, size, accent color (empty = your theme's main color), filling the entire width of the box, and highlighting products already in the cart. The text is available in Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German.

/ What you should know

The quantity selector doesn't appear when the store is in catalog mode, nor for customer groups who don't see prices, nor for products unavailable for order or with mandatory customization: these still require the product details. Customizable items already in the cart can be changed from the cart page. The quantity selector also doesn't appear on the cart and order pages, which already have their own quantity selectors.

Each change in quantity is calculated by the server using the client's actual shopping cart, protected with the session token, and the responses are not stored in any cache because they depend on each individual cart.

v1.0.1

  • Product page with Hummingbird 2.0.0 (PrestaShop 9.0 and 9.1): the "In cart" selector was not displayed because that theme does not mark its quantity block with .product-quantity . It is now also present.
  • What the theme module hides remains hidden even if the theme or its own CSS forces it to be displayed with display: … !important (two buttons appeared in the boxes of other modules, such as the related products blocks).
  • "Add a button if the theme doesn't have one" no longer puts a disabled "Buy" button on products that cannot be purchased.
