If you manufacture what you sell, Cost Estimates and Production Orders tells you the true cost per unit (raw materials at cost price, waste, and labor) and how many you can produce with your current stock. When an order is completed, it deducts the raw materials and adds the finished product to stock, along with its corresponding stock movement. Features include shortage alerts, a dashboard with indicators and statistics, CSV import and export, and demo data. Ideal for workshops, production facilities, crafts, cosmetics, textiles, and pre-assembled packages. Rekire module, tested in real stores.
Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.8 and 9.x, with PHP 7.2 or higher.
In-house manufacturing
You sell what you manufacture. Do you know what each unit costs you?
Raw materials change in price, waste is lost along the way, and working hours don't appear anywhere. Cost breakdowns and manufacturing orders (RKR Manufacturing) puts the recipe for each product inside PrestaShop: it calculates its real cost, tells you how many units you can manufacture today with what you have in the warehouse and moves the stock when you finish each order.
/ How much does it really cost to manufacture one unit?
Each finished product has its own cost breakdownThe recipe includes the raw materials, the quantity of each, their unit of measurement (pieces, meters, kilos, liters, etc.), and the time required. The module calculates the cost per unit and recalculates it live as you edit, before saving.
/ How many can you make today, and when will you run out?
In the list of cost breakdowns you see, next to the unit cost, the units you can manufacture with the current stock For raw materials: for each material, the quantity you have is divided by the quantity needed for one unit (including waste), and the quantity that runs out first is sent. The same material can appear in several bills of materials: all are calculated against the same stock.
When that number drops to the threshold you set (5 units by default), the Panel alerts you with the limiting materials and the list marks the bill of materials with a missing badge.
/ Manufacturing orders with history
You create an order from a bill of materials, and before creating it, you see each material needed, the current stock, what's missing, and the total cost of the batch. Each order has an automatic reference (the prefix you choose, the year, and a counter, like MO-2026-0001), a planned date, and notes, and goes through draft, planned, in progress, and completed, or it is cancelled. Each change is recorded in the order history with its date.
/ If materials are missing, you decide.
When an order is completed, the module rechecks the stock and, if something is missing, lists exactly what's lacking and how much. What happens next is chosen in the production settings.
/ Meters, kilos and sizes
A bag doesn't use a whole piece of fabric: it uses 0.35 m. The quantities on each line accept decimals (up to six), but PrestaShop manages stock in whole units. The module deducts the corresponding whole units and drag the fraction to the next command4 × 0.35 m = 1.4 m. Take out 1 unit now and leave 0.4 noted for later. That way nothing is lost and nothing is counted twice.

/ Who can do what, and in how many stores
/ Manufactureable now, on the product sheet (optional)
If you work with a small stock of finished product or manufacture to order, you can display a block with the number of items on the product page. units that we can manufacture right now, and a low stock warning when materials fall below the threshold. It follows the customer's chosen combination, appears only on products with an active bill of materials, and doesn't load on the rest of the store's pages.
It's coming off by default, Just like a bill of materials, a cost breakdown is internal information and you only display it if you want to. You can add your own title, choose what is shown (units, materials with availability bars, warnings), and select from 23 color themes and six animation effects for the ad, or tweak it with your own CSS.
/ What you should know
It's light manufacturing, not an ERP. It does not generate purchase orders to suppliers, it does not automatically deploy multi-level bills of materials (a semi-finished product is manufactured with its own order and then used as material for another bill of materials) and it does not plan the capacity of your machines or work with warehouses: it uses the standard available stock of PrestaShop.
To ensure accurate costing, enter the cost price of your raw materials in the catalog. Stock levels only change when you complete an order. You can find this in the back office menu. Rekire MODULES → Manufacturing, It features three screens: Dashboard, Bills of Materials, and Production Orders; settings are configured within the module's settings, which include a guide. It does not require cron or connect to external services.
