Connectif charges per activity, and its script generates these activities in each visitor's browser, whether they are a person or not. This module decides, page by page, whether that script loads: it excludes robots by category, AI crawlers, excluded URLs and 404 errors, your back-office team, and countries where you don't sell. The page is served regardless, with no effect on SEO. The country is taken from official records, not GeoIP: DIGI Spain is Spain. Includes statistics, URL logging, and a tester.

Connectif

You pay Connectif for activities. And most of them aren't customers.

Each activity is generated by the Connectif script in the visitor's browser: robots, AI crawlers, SEO tools, non-existent pages, your own team. Everyone uses data like a customer. RKR Connectif decides, on a country-by-country basis , page by page, whether that script reaches the visitor.

8 rules
In the ordered pairs, the first one that is fulfilled decides; and you can check why with the tester.
8 switches
of robots: AI, SEO, search engines, previews, automation, monitoring, generics and "not a browser"
5 records
official databases (RIPE NCC, ARIN, APNIC, LACNIC and AFRINIC) to determine the country, not a GeoIP database

The page is serving as is. Only the script is missing.

A "blocked" page is seen by visitors, search engine crawlers, and Google exactly as usual. The only thing that isn't received is the Connectif script, even if someone manually pasted it into the theme. Therefore, there's no effect on SEO: nothing is hidden from search engines; the visit simply isn't counted as activity.

The module disables Connectif only for that specific request . It does not modify the Connectif module or its configuration: it remains installed and functioning for those who actually need to be measured.

/ The country, according to official records and not GeoIP

GeoIP databases "geolocate" and make mistakes with operators working in multiple countries. The module uses the country of the IP address holder to whom the block was assigned in the regional registries. For example, DIGI Spain appears as Romania in many GeoIP databases; in RIPE, the block 79.116.0.0/15 is delegated to Spain, and here it is counted as Spain.

You choose the countries with their codes ( ES, PT ), or leave the list empty so that all countries are included and you only need to use the other filters. The data is pre-populated and is updated manually or with a monthly cron job.

/ Robots: everything that is not a person

One main switch and one per family, all enabled by default. You turn off the one you want to measure and add your own User-Agent patterns.

AI
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Bytespider, Google-Extended and company.
SEO and marketing
AhrefsBot, SemrushBot, MJ12bot, Screaming Frog…
Search engines
Googlebot, Bingbot, YandexBot, Applebot… Excluding them from Connectif does not affect your ranking.
Social previews
What the page loads when sharing a link on WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Slack…
Automation, monitoring and generics
Chrome headless, Puppeteer, curl, UptimeRobot, Lighthouse, and anything ending in bot, crawler, or spider.
It's not a browser
Empty User-Agent or without "Mozilla/5.0", which all real browsers have.

No known false positives: the Cubot mobile phone has "bot" in its name and is a human, and the internal browsers of Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat are not treated as robots either. A bot pretending to be Chrome is not detected by its User-Agent: it is stopped by the country filter.

/ URLs that should not spend activity

One rule per line; matches any URL that starts with it and accepts the wildcard * . Three are included by default ( /.well-known/passkey-endpoints , /api/customers , and /api/order_details ). And you can choose not to send 404 pages: bots try thousands of non-existent URLs, and each one with the Connectif script is an activity.

Your team, out of account

Each time someone opens the back office, the module records their IP address, and their visits to the store stop being sent, even if they are not logged in. An IP address is forgotten after N days of inactivity (90 by default), because home and mobile IP addresses eventually become registered to other users. If an IP address should never be excluded, it is placed in the "IPs always allowed" list.

/ URL Log: Find out where the plan is going

The module counts how many times each URL (without domain or parameters) has been sent, ordered by visits. For each one, you decide:

Whitelist
Checked and correct. It continues to be sent, but it stops appearing and being counted in the record.
Blacklist
It will never be sent again, no matter who it is. You can undo this with "Return to registry".

Measure before you play, and check what you've played.

The Summary tab shows pages with and without Connectif from the last 30 days, broken down by reason and country. The tester tells you what would happen with a specific IP address, URL, and User-Agent, and which rule applies. There's also a link to see the actual store as another IP address would see it.

What it doesn't do, so you're not surprised: it doesn't block any visits , it just excludes the script. And the statistics count pages , not Connectif activities: each page usually generates more than one (visit, product view, cart). If a full page cache saves the HTML, the decision applies to whoever generated it.

Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9 · PHP 7.1 to 8.4

v1.1.1

  • Fixed: In stores with multiple stores, the configuration viewed from "All stores" appeared empty (filters turned off, test links, and cron jobs without tokens). The settings are now common to all stores.
