Textile labeling

Selling clothes in the EU requires stating what they're made of. Do it right, and without spreadsheets.

A poorly written or unlabeled composition is a problem with both the customer and inspections. RKR Textile Labels lets you declare the composition using the official fiber designations from Regulation (EU) 1007/2011, the ISO 3758 care symbols, and the country of manufacture, and displays this information on each product page in the visitor's language.

A correct composition, not just a pretty one.

The editor only accepts official designations and checks percentages as you type: a progress bar alerts you until the sum reaches 100% (with your chosen rounding tolerance, either in strict mode or as a simple warning). It prevents duplicate fibers and exceeding the percentage limit.

Virgin wool, with the rule of article 7
100% virgin wool is acceptable, or a blend with at least 25% virgin wool and one other fiber. If this isn't the case, the editor will explain.
"Other fibers", with its limit
The global designation of article 9 may or may not be activated, and it groups a maximum of 15% of the product.
Parts of animal origin
Indicate if the item contains non-textile parts of animal origin and the declaration will appear on the data sheet and in the PDF.
Pure product
When a single fiber reaches the total, the card expresses it as pure composition.

This is a tool, not legal advice. The module validates the composition rules it implements, but what each garment should contain remains your responsibility. Check your labels with your supplier.

The composition with percentage bars, care symbols with their text, the country ("Made in…"), and the person responsible for the product appear on the product page, under the tabs, on the details tab, or both, as you prefer. The fiber and care names are displayed in the visitor's language, and the country names are taken from the PrestaShop countries themselves. It includes text in both Spanish and English. It also publishes the composition and country of origin as structured product data ( material and countryOfOrigin ).

If a product does not have a label, you can see a warning on its record: by default, it is only seen by the employee connected to the back-office, never a customer (or, if you choose, all visitors).

Import and export in CSV
Download your label catalog, edit it in Excel, and upload it again. The import process first performs a test pass, marking row by row what is included and what is not, and only then writes the valid rows.
PDF ready for printing
Label measuring 100 x 70 mm, A6 or A4, with vector-based design, symbols, country, and responsible party. You can generate a PDF of multiple labels at once from the manager. The PDF uses standard fonts: it is suitable for the Latin alphabet, but not for Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
Tag manager
Listing with filters by product, state and country, bulk actions and summary panel within the product sheet of the back-office.

/ AI assistant, if you want and with your key

It's optional. Paste the vendor's information or up to three public web page addresses, and the wizard will suggest a composition, care schedule, or description. It works locally with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, Perplexity, or Ollama, and you'll need your own key from your chosen vendor (it's saved encrypted). The suggestion is previewed and validated against the official catalog; nothing is saved until you apply it .

Each store has its own tags, which are edited by selecting a specific store. The description is written in each language. The back office and store details include Spanish and English.

The module's styles and scripts are only loaded on product pages. No external libraries or CDN are required.

Coverage of your catalog, most used fibers and recent activity; and demo data that you install and remove in one click.
License and uninstallation

Security

  • The URLs passed to the AI assistant can only be public web pages (http/https): no server files or internal network addresses, and no redirects to unverified sites.
  • Employee profile permissions are respected: view to consult and download CSV/PDF, edit to save and import, delete to remove tags.
  • The description sanitizer removes style and links that are not web, email, phone or anchors, even when they are hidden with HTML entities.

Corrections

  • Multi-store: with "All stores" or a selected group, the default store is no longer written to; the module asks to choose a store.
  • The exported CSV file is re-imported even if the descriptions contain line breaks.
  • "Remove demo" no longer deletes demo labels that the merchant has edited.
  • Uninstalling or "Resetting" retains the default labels (you can enable deletion in General).
  • Virgin wool according to art. 7: 100% or in a mixture of art. 7.2 (at least 25% with a single other fiber).
  • "Other fibers" at most 15% (art. 9.3); a total above 100% is always an error.
  • Manual storage checks country, care symbols and that the product belongs to the store.
  • The "product without label" notice in the store actually appears to the employee connected to the back-office.
  • Position "both": the JSON-LD appears only once and the identifiers are not repeated.
  • The CSS of the section is also loaded in the quick view of the listings; the front-end CSS is registered with the theme's resource manager (previously it was discarded because it contained ?v= ).
  • Statistics: The center of the coverage chart shows the percentage (formerly, the number of products with "%").
  • The module manager's "Configure" menu displays a screen with the access options instead of redirecting.
  • Total message with duplicate "%%".
  • Automatic update of hooks and settings when opening the module and with upgrade/ upgrade-1.2.0.php .

Addon Compatibility and Validator

  • Without Context:: in the classes, without Tab::getIdFromClassName() , without HTML in the PHP, Tools::file_get_contents() , AFL-3.0 headers and LICENSE.txt , .htaccess in the root, PHP CS Fixer with PrestaShop rules.
  • The menu trait has its own prefix ( RkrTlBackOfficeMenuTrait ): it does not conflict with copies from other Rekire modules.
  • Reading CSV compatible with PHP 7.1 to 8.4.
