Payment split between friends
Large orders remain in the cart when only one person has to put all the money in.
A group gift, a family purchase, or a team order often stalls at checkout: someone pays the full amount upfront and then gets paid later, or no one pays at all. RKR Split Friends Payment adds a "Split Friends Payment" option to your checkout: each person pays their share using their preferred payment method, and you hold the order until everyone has paid.

You collect the full payment for the order, without chasing anyone.
A unique link for each person
The buyer distributes the order, optionally including themselves, and each friend receives their link by email or shares it via WhatsApp or copies it. Each link is unique.
Pay with any payment gateway in your store
Card, PayPal, Bizum, whatever you have installed: each person chooses their payment method at the usual checkout, with their exact amount.
The stock is set aside.
The order is created with a deadline (72 hours by default, configurable) and the stock reserved, so that the product is not sold to another while the group is organizing.
Automatic reminders
Before the deadline, anyone who hasn't paid yet receives a notification (by default, 24 hours in advance). You adjust the deadline and the notification frequency.
Only the money that has actually come in counts.
A portion is considered paid when your payment is confirmed and for the full amount . Pending cash on delivery or bank transfer payments are not counted until you mark them as paid. When 100% is received, the order status changes to "Payment Accepted" and everyone is notified.
If the deadline passes without the group being completed, the order is cancelled, the stock is returned to your catalog, and the parts already paid for are refunded with their credit voucher, and the organizer, payers, and store are notified.
What the module does and what you do. Each part is processed through your store's payment gateway, so you (or the gateway itself, if it supports it) handle the refund through that gateway: the module ensures the correct credit and status are recorded. Furthermore, each part is a separate order for a virtual product without VAT ("Partial Payment Between Friends"); the tax breakdown is included in the main order.

What you should know
